When They Come

Life is a very funny thing
It is a dance of paradise and hell
There is so much I need to tell
I don't even know where to begin
I just want to climb a cliff and yell

We were never explained
That it is so innocent and simple
To fall in love
And it is so cheap and worthless to lose what's made
Nobody told us when we were children
Our teachers failed

In our bedtime stories we were never warned
Of the power of memories, of their sword
As everything comes and everything goes
The power of memories follows
Because we fell in love when they came
And were torn apart when they came way

Life is a very funny thing
We watch things we love the most getting old
And coming to pass
It is in the heart of the worst drunkard
That it is a matter of moment
When they will come for her

We are so unlucky
Because we were all born of this Earth
Where happiness is as light as a feather
And so out of this world
Sometimes it seems like we were born to hurt
And we fight our best friends for her
Leaving them behind in dirt

Life is a very funny thing
Because even when we get what we want
Breaking all the rules and stabbing all the knives
We know that in our hands lays a feather
That some day they will come for her

So when you get her, enjoy her, turn the music and sing
Because it's a matter of moment when will they come
For life is a very funny thing

Pretty Blue

Over the rainbow
The sky is pretty blue
But it's not a sort of place
 You'd be moving to
For a moment there you would fly away
From you sorrows, would you?
Although it's quite a sight
Air is light
And you'd fall right through

An intense rush going through your blood
Through your veins and through your streams
Like a rainy season near the river
Flooding all your shattered dreams
Water going
 And overflowing
It's Venice, or at least it seems
But when the flood is gone
 Ruins are shown
 Emptiness appears

And you, my love
 When you are gone
 The rainbow disappears
It stays up high
But I fall down
Landing on flood-ruined streets
Stay for a while
 I'll be flying high
Don't ask why
Make me feel alive

Gardens filled with flowers
On this road to Mandalay
Smiling faces going places
But for you are here to stay
I feel a summer breeze gently on my skin
when I hear you say
I am always yours, and all because
you came into my life

And you, my love
 When you are gone
 The rainbow disappears

Magic

You brought me magic
The piano playing high notes
You make me part with logic
My mind swirls and floats

You make me wonder
You make me explore
Are you here to plunder
How far can I go

You make my days simple
Common to a spectator
Filled with inner beauty
That makes my joy even greater

As I go further a violin starts to play
As my heart gets warmer by a day
You turn my wishes to clay
Easy to shape in your hands

I would like to hold my ground
A man can't allow himself to fly
His joy would agitate a hound
Or catch some beast's eye

As We are Coming to An End

As we are coming to an end
All of our roads will finish and our hopes will die
At least the ones with you and I
We have other hopes to attend

As we are coming to an end
My heart is filled with things I want to say to you
We strived for happiness known only by few
But our story was different

As we are coming to an end
I know that I loved you
You were my friend
And you loved me too

You introduced me to joys of live
You introduced me to great wonders
But there was too much pain, too much struggle
Our lives had to go on
There were other battles
We've lost this one

As we are coming to an end
I know that I will never forget you
A heart that loved never forgets its loved one
You will be remembered
You

All Began with A Smile

All began with a smile
and caring look in her eyes
She was there all the time
and left me wonder why
I shouldn't stay for a while

Our story was so bright
But often bright as a night
Had no clue what was going on

All began with a rose
And what a day it was
I changed her life as she did mine
In ways I can't describe
Her love warmed up mine

She was there all the time
and left me wonder why
I shouldn't stay for a while

Mine

She is warm in a simple way
She can be hostile to others
But to me she is warm in a simple way
And that is what matters

There are many turns a human heart can take
Her heart decided to go straight to me
She always knew what will take
To make her happy
It was always me

And although she is scared a lot
And although she often carries too much
She would never use the fear to distance herself
To take away her lot
To take away her touch

She is strong
But not a kind of strength that would make the headlines
Not a kind of strength that draws many words
Her power is persistent, even long
It is underrated at the beginning, but in time conquers worlds

She is mine
And that's her favorite part
Because I can see a light bolt dashing her heart
When I tell her she's mine
And altogether, looking at nows and laters
That is what matters
